Creative Directors. Boring names, unboring ideas.

About

Sarah Levitt and Matt Roach are a CD team in London who specialise in ideas worth talking about, whatever the media or budget. From integrated campaigns, virals and media firsts to comedy writing, headline zingers and ads that don’t look like ads.

Our work has made headlines and won 50+ industry awards. Our last 5 projects have all won awards, picking up 9 Creative Circles, 2 Clios, 1 ADCE, 2 Drum EMEA Awards, a Purpose Award, Sabres EMEA and the Ocean Outdoor Digital Creative Competition with ‘The Feeling Ceiling’, an innovative installation which featured on ITV News who called it “amazing”.

We’ve been described as “an unstoppable force” (Revolt ECD) and “a breath of fresh air” (Havas ECD), which basically makes us a hurricane.

Sarah has been named an IPA Woman of Tomorrow and one of Campaign’s Next Leaders of British Commercial Creativity. She is the founder of an alcohol-infused candy floss brand, Sweet Mother Fluffer. It’s fluffin’ delicious.

Matt’s a singer-songwriter and author published by Penguin (two books about poo, but still). He once won UK Cannes Young Lions single-handedly and in 2018 completed The International Exchange for future leaders, launching a charity diving business as a one-man agency in Africa.

We relentlessly hustled to create proactive campaigns for charities The Diana Award, Frazzled and St John Ambulance.

Some of our fans

Matt’s thoughtful approach to any brief always generates interesting and unexpected work, and he can always be relied on to make s**t happen – a very important quality in this business. Sarah’s sharp eye and attention to detail make a huge difference. They are a pleasure to work with and together, they make an unstoppable force.”

– Orlando Warner, ECD, Revolt

“Matt is one of the best creatives I've ever worked with. Such a good writer. He can write like a xylophone. He's one of those selfless creatives that makes everybody's work better. He cares. He cares about people and he cares about work. I adore him. And I hope you get to adore him too.”

– Oli Beale, former Partner & ECD, Anomaly

“You two have been a revelation here since you arrived. Sad you can’t stay longer.”

– Dan Cole, ECD, Havas London

“I've worked with Matt for five years and in that time he's always produced thoughtful and brilliant ideas. I love his writing and the economy in his language. His ideas are always clear and provoke. There are more times than I can remember when he's shared something and I've thought ‘Blimey, that's clever!’.”

Joe Corcoran, former ECD, Anomaly

Judging & Mentoring

We’ve both sat on Creative Circle Gold Juries and Sarah has judged the Gerety Awards & the Poduction Music Awards.

Both of us have done a lot of mentoring – Creative Equals, IME’s mentorship programme and GENIE’s ‘School Of’.
